Jack is a graduate of Villanova University and holds a Masters in Taxation from Villanova School of Law. Jack is an award-winning discussion leader, having taught more than 2,000 seminars during the past 30 years as the founder of one of the largest continuing professional education (“CPE”) businesses for CPAs and other financial professionals. Jack specializes in taxation, financial planning, and due diligence of private placements for high net worth individuals and closely held businesses.
 
Prior to founding both the CPE business and GMS Surgent, Jack was a professor of accounting at St. Joseph’s University, and was a tax professional at Arthur Anderson, LLP.
 
Jack involves himself closely with his clients; engaging in business, establishing friendships and using his knowledge and expertise to significantly contribute to their success. Jack’s achievements have been rightfully acknowledged by others, earning him numerous awards for his professional teaching in the area of taxation. In 2006, he accepted a position on the accounting advisory board for Villanova University. In addition, he has been elected Chairman of the Franciscan Ministries Foundation.
 
Personally, Jack is married with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He enjoys vacationing at his second home in Whistler, British Columbia, boating on the Chesapeake or enjoying family dinners at home in Villanova
